SALES & DESIGN CONSULTANT

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sales & Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in sales within the high-LSM sector and possesses strong design capabilities, particularly using Winner Design software. This role requires a blend of creative flair, technical know-how, and exceptional customer relationship management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the full sales and design cycle for high-end kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom projects.
  • Proactively follow up on leads provided by the company.
  • Conduct initial on-site consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and view the space.
  • Develop creative and functional design concepts tailored to each client’s brief.
  • Produce detailed designs and quotations using Winner Design software.
  • Present designs and proposals to clients in our showroom or at their premises.
  • Assist with project management, including ordering materials and liaising with our competent installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project and beyond.
  • Achieve sales targets based on project profitability.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven design and sales experience in a similar role, catering to high-LSM residential and/or commercial projects.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field would be advantages.
  • Full proficiency and extensive experience with Winner Design software is essential.Experience with other design software will be advantageous.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work, particularly projects completed using Winner Design, is required.
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects with larger budgets and discerning clientele would be beneficial.

  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in both design and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Resilience and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are mandatory for client and site visits.
  • Must be willing to initially work from our office in Brackenfell, Cape Town, with the potential for a hybrid/work-from-home arrangement.
  • Proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
